I don't really have any specific commentary or criticism on this chapter
beyond "good job", but I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know
just how terrific I think Choices as a whole has been. You so successfully
capture the sheer misery that high school can be at it's worst; to the point
where I find it impossible to re-read some passages, they're so painfully
real. I also appreciate the realization, vocalized in-story by Hinako, that
no matter how crappy high school is or was, in ten years it won't make a
difference whether you were popular or not, happy or not, and all the little
games of prestige we play in school rarely have lasting consequences.

I think that for the most part you've done a wonderful job in both
maintaining continuity in characterization between the canon and this fic-
nowhere do I find myself saying, "well, so-and-so would never say or do
that!" In the cases of Hiroshi, Daisuke and Sayuri, you've injected
characters Takahashi created as ciphers with a true-to-life human-ness. Once
again, good job.

Well, I've said my piece. I'm looking forward to part two of "Decision", as
well as the final chapter. Keep up the wonderful work!
