Well, it was an interesting take on the possibilities of such a

Er...am I the only one who found this part lacking in sensitivity? 
There are pious muslims just as there are pious people from any 
religion. You make it seem like only Christian blessings have any 
effect, when the Senshi are certainly not Christian.

I was going to adress this point, but firethorn has answered it already. That
said, and considering the statement that what matters is the faith of the
blessing man, you can draw two conclusions : 
First, even pagans, boudhists and so on are able to bless ammunitions.
Second, if what is important is faith, non-blessed rounds used by a real
believer (in whatever) should at the very least be as usefull.


There are a few other points beside that one I'd like to raise.

If I remember well (I've never been much of a SM fan), youma are after people's
life energy, ans they usually try to get it throught somewhat subtle means
(they're not that stupid or mindless, and are ordered around by Beryl's generals
who are anything but stupid). The rampage usually starts when the senshis find
out about their latest scheme. There must be somekind of reason to explain the
way they act in US (outside Japan ?), maybe somekind of wild ones or something.

Another thought is, the best way to unite Humanity is to give it a common foe,
which has been adressed somewhat with the 'alliance' between USA and China, but
seems somewhat lacking (maybe it's just me). On the other hand, the generals
seems smart enough to ally themselves/manipulate with some human nations
(especially those really ressentful against US).

One last thing is that if there are report about people fighting youmas with
unorthodox means (namely, the senshis), you can bet your ass every and any kind
of intelligence service will investigate - I'd guess it wouldn't take more than
a couple of months before they know the 'civil' IDs of the senshis. Taking into
account that whatever country they're from, these agencies don't play fair, I
would imagine two possible outcome of such a situation. Worst case scenario,
they kidnap them in order to use them (through brainwashing)/try to understand
and replicate their power. The outcome of such an occurence would really be ugly.
But even if the officials do play nice (I'd imagine something along the lines of
Ultimates' Fury 's attitude with spiderman), it could turn dark - "We can't
afford to lose you, you must be protected when you're not transformed..." or
"Senshi, please teleport to whatever location for the 16th case of the week.
What do you mean you're exhausted, there are people dying out there..."

Anyway, these are the few thoughts this piece inspired me.
