with an over-abundance of one element, but the only
one that contained them all (even if it was in a more
evil kind of way) was the Labyrinth.
And in the beginning it had a very different purpose
that it had at the end! So it stands to reason that
the creatures in it also had a different purpose, or
at least an original task that mutated into what they
ended up doing.

Well, with Fizban throwing his hand in what did you
expect? ^_^' 'sides, with the mage, Kami-sama and a
certain demon making bets, the rules HAVE to be bent a
little. Although Kami-sama probably knows the outcome
anyway, so one has to ask... is he letting Urd do all
that just for her to feel that she did all she could?

Nope. The Nexus is secure... and the First Gate is the
farthest from the Nexus as possible. So, being that
far, it is almost a certain guarantee of death.
