And for posting this to the FFML, you've earned the first tempban of
2004. As the FAQ says:

  * Not allowed, may result in immediate temporary postbanning:

    "Merry Christmas" posts, or similiar holiday-related spam (this 
    does not include holiday-themed fanfics)

While we appreciate the sentiment, there are over two thousand accounts
subscribed to FFML, and the sad truth is that if we let everybody post
holiday greetings, there wouldn't be room for much else.
