Here goes nothing. As I did with Shades of Gray, though oddly four
chapters into the story, I present the textual version of a movie
trailer for the sequel.

Spoilers for Shades of Gray abound, for obvious reasons.

Knowing my luck, events will conspire to make me miss my 'deadline'.

One war has ended.

[Ares hands Sailor Moon his sword.]

But another has begun.

[Metallia settles into her throne as hordes of youma teem below.]

And in this war...

[Flash to the ruins of the Moon Palace.]

...there is no option but victory.

[Fade to black.]

There is no place for remorse.

[Jadeite stands, back to the viewer, holding something in an
outstretched arm, something that somehow shines with darkness. He says
something, and a harsh, mocking laugh comes from somewhere offscreen.]

There is no place for regret.

[Closeup on Sailor Pluto, in a fighting pose. The camera slowly pulls
away, and just before the scene fades away the shadow of a figure in a
sailor fuku is visible facing her.]

There is no place for mercy.

[Sailor Saturn stands atop a pile of rubble, the Silence Glaive in her
hands glowing with an infernal light. The camera begins to move, and
Sailor Moon can be seen standing below her, the Ginzuishou shining
brightly to match.]

There is nothing but the struggle itself.

[The camera backs away from the confrontation, revealing the streets of
a shattered Tokyo. There is no other sign of life to be seen.]

The eternal struggle, between the light and the darkness.

[The camera swerves, revealing the spires of the Crystal Palace before
zooming out rapidly. As it stops, we see the night side of the Earth,
as seen from space, the light of man's cities easy to see.]

THE SEQUEL TO 'SHADES OF GRAY'

[The lights begin to go out.]

        SHADES OF DARKNESS

[A few lights remain, insignificant next to the all-consuming
blackness.]

WELCOME TO THE END OF THE WORLD.

[The Earth suddenly flares a brilliant silver, and the screen fades to
white.]
