Okay, I�ve got a bit of a quandry, and I�m hoping my fellow list members 
will be able to help me figure it out.


I have a fic (at http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1518608 ) that I 
need a bit of advice on.  Basic concept is that Ranma begins taking martial 
arts techniques, skills, and training methods he's seen in anime/manga/video 
games, and copying them.

Now, at least part of this fic will be action based, so I need someone good 
(or at least powerful) enough that Ranma can�t just trounce them.  My 
problem is that, I need someone who �isn�t� from a manga/anime/video game 
that Ranma is copying.  This of course means no one from Fatal Fury/King of 
Fighters, Street Fighters, Mortal Kombat, Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, DB/Z/GT, 
Ninja Scroll, Kenshin, FotNS, Saint Seiya, Darkstalkers, Ninku, Shadow 
Skills.

Heh, if I�m mean, I might just include Master of Mosquiton, Pokemon, and 
Digimon in the list!

Also, I need someone who could exist in the Ranma universe, without Ranma 
doing any dimensional travel (though if dimensional travel is a part of the 
canon of the xovered world (as with Magic Knights Rayearth, or El Hazard) I 
may allow it)

At the moment, people I can think of are: Armsmaster Julia Briggand-Diggers, 
Archmage Dr Theo Diggers, Weaponmaster G�nolga (all three from Gold Digger) 
Lantis (from Magic Knights Rayearth) Prince Yosho/Katsuhito Masaki (Tenchi 
Muyo) Bendaries, Yakumo Fuji [end of the series], Pai/Parvati VI (3x3 Eyes) 
Ifurita (El Hazard)

However, I will not use characters from Iczer/Iczelion or Guyver, as I don�t 
want to deal with the backstory.

Also, you don't have to limit it to anime/manga.  Characters from fantasy, 
Manwha, US comics, are all welcome.

If the series isn't that well known, you might also include a link to a site 
where I can get some info on the characters, just so I know.
