#1 thing: Word Wrapping, Alan. There are a lot of ways to manage it
and none of them are that hard.
Alternatly, there are quite a few word wrapping programs out there that
will take a .txt file and wrap it for you as well. Dunno what the
current ones are, the one I use... err, used was called Win Helper and
was written by another writer over at the SMFFHQ mailing list. Doubt
it's available anywhere else anymore. At present I use the technique
above.
Normally, I wouldn't reply to this, but seeing as it's needed...
I still have the last version of WinHelper (version 0.9) in it's
original ZIP file, with all documentation. If need be, I can be contacted
*PRIVATELY*, OFF the mailing list, and I will gladly email a copy of it
to anyone who requests it. If necessary - and ONLY if absolutely necessary,
I'll upload a copy to my website where more people can get at it.
While WinHelper doesn't have as many of the frills as the other
text wrapping programs mentioned in the FFML FAQ, it has one advantage
that trumps them nicely. It has a nice, simple, graphic interface. No
confusing command line interface. Just point, click, and you're done.
Additionally, if there's anyone out there who has both website
and bandwidth spare, I'll be happy to send them a copy too. My site
isn't very big, and doesn't have a hell of a lot of bandwidth. :(
Finally, I'd like to apologize if the tone of this letter comes
off as sharp or nasty. My beloved Aili has had a relapse. Her cancer
has returned, and the doctors are holding out little hope. They give
her perhaps two years, even with constant chemotherapy.
I'm _not_ in the best of moods. Please forgive me if that comes
across in my writing. It's not intentional.
Sincerely,
Edward Becerra.
