He's already run around in a bunny suit or whatever to fight Tsubasa,
though.  He's not that insecure about his manhood.  ^_^;

(( That was a ploy to win one fight. This is a semi-permanent deal, and not
having anything to do with a fight. This is Ranma putting on panties
because they look nice, and he -wants- to look nice. It's an entirely
different, and to Ranma's POV very anti-masculine, concept. There's nothing
un-masculine about winning a fight. ))

So why *doesn't* Pluto know the Gates are sentient?  They've had
3000+ years to make this apparent to her.  And honestly, I think
Pluto would pick the Crystal Tokyo future because it required the
*least* number of innocent deaths.

(( Puu is in willful denial. Eiko probably HAS been screaming in her

for the last thousand years, she's just ignoring it. ))

Eiko says they used to talk.  I have trouble believing that, due to
Pluto's insistence that the Gates aren't sentient.

(( Like I said, she's in denial. Somewhere deep inside, she knows she's
wrong, and that she's lost the only friend she had for centuries. There's a
heck of a lot of pain in there, and some of it comes out in her fight with
Ranma. There's more to come on this, I'm sure. ))

Usagi spontaneously transforming in front of her mother, and Luna
blabbing like a madwoman were the best bits in the chapter.  Keep
those, though the protocols stuff was a teensy overdone.

(( *chuckle* The Ginzuishou's AI is obviously not as well-programmed

as the

Gate's. I'd have a word with the code team if they weren't all ten

thousand

years dead. ))

I dunno.  Eiko doesn't seem all that bright either.  Anyway, if you
read the early chapters Eiko sounds a lot different.
