*AVADA KEDAVRA* the death curse.
The story was convincing up to this point. Even when
faced with the Death Eaters, Harry and Hermione didn't
resort to any of the Unforgivable curses.
I agree. So far, the threat isn't as great as they've
faced without resorting to banned curses. I would expect
Hermione to try an indirect mode of attack like
Serpensortia rather than simply throwing more power at
this figure.
In any case, Avada Kedavra is way over the top.
Not English, not Japanes, and it
Um, wouldn't the book be in English?
The books in the movies were in English. I doubt
Rowling would overlook something like that.
And also, wasn't it _only_ Voldemort who could kill
Harry?
True. Until Harry has killed Voldemort, the only person
who can kill him is Voldemort himself. One will kill the
other. That much is known.
Sure, it would destroy the reason for Harry and
Hermione being in Japan, but if it's a gag, then
little reason is needed.
Didn't Hermione think they were in the southern
hemisphere? It should be pretty obvious if they were
in the northern hemisphere, even without stars. Seasonal
clues would tell that much.
Unless of course the bad teleport was so bad as ot inter-dimensional,
which would explain most of the inconsistencies. A muggle controlled
origanization like the witchhunters can't exist in the same world as
Hogwarts without major fireworks a long time ago.
