Hey there, Droo-chan!
	Hallo, Ucchan.

I admit, I hardly have any comments about this fic; I've just been enjoying
it (actually, I remember digging up 'Like Strawberries' on ff.net early in
the year, when I first got started watching Furuba, and was rather
impressed). Admittedly, I never particularly considered Uo and Kyou as a
couple - actually, I never really considered matchups for either Uotani or
Hanajima - but this works really well.
Heh. Canonically, it's not going to happen; I've heard that a
fellow named Kureno--one of the Soumas, but apparently not cursed--becomes
an interest for Uotani. Never mind the fact that he's about ten years
older than her, but oh well. I have no idea about the details beyond that,
though.
As for Hanajima, I've toyed with the idea of her and Haru. And
before you say that Haru's gay, he does have an old girlfriend in the
manga. :) At any rate, though, there's already a rather well-written
Haru/Hana work on ffnet, though it's still in progress and hasn't been
updated in a couple of months. I suppose I might try myself anyway
sometime.

Erm. I still am not quite done, I think. There'll be a short epilogue. Or
so I think. When I finish the next part, that's when I'll know for sure,
eheh.

As Vince said, take your time. The more we hear from you, the better.
Each chapter took me about a week to write, way back in June. I
was fortunate to have a good, fast pre-reader (Casiopea on IRC) to help me
out then. :)

Yes, I know I'm taking things slow. I'm vaguely frustrated myself, but
I've always been a believer in love not being an easy, fast thing; if
you've read my other fics, that much is rather obvious. While things can
move fast believably (one of my favorite Uo-Kyou stories moves much more
quickly indeed; check out Firsts, in my Favorite Stories section), I
prefer to take my time and develop them gradually.

I fully agree. Fruits Basket isn't a slam-bang paced show to begin with
(unless you count the feverishly apologetic onsen lady and her Konatsuesque
Those two are unbridled freaks, I say.

son), so a slow pacing is perfectly appropriate. Add to that the difficulty
in getting either of these two tough-hided characters' hearts to soften, and
this could be almost epic. But like I said, the more we see of you, the
Slow-paced, I can do. Epic, I shy away from. :)

better (and I'm sure you know I'm referring to other Oddzilla projects as
well), ne?
	Aheheh...right. n.n;
