- Someone mentioned that they had seen this idea before, and I do remember
reading a *description* for a fic in which Ranma and Genma show up for the
first time with Shampoo (and possibly Mousse and Cologne, I can't remember
exactly). I didn't read the fic, though, so I don't know if it was anything
like this. I do remember that it was on this list, so if the author wants to
speak up for him or herself, we could get to the bottom of it.
This story reminded me a bit of DB Sommer's "Shampoo 1/2", which also has
Ranma and Genma showing up with Shampoo in tow. However, that one is a
major alternate universe thing, changing several curses and generally not
even just barely resembling the original storyline. Also, as far as I
know, there wasn't an Excalibur-like staff involved. Despite similar
premises, they're very different stories, and can be enjoyed based on
their own individual merits :).
