I think "Green Mile" is should be capitalized.
Wasn't the "Green" part prison-specific? It's been a while since I saw
that movie, but ISTR that it was what the locals called their own
"Mile".
That is correct. It is known as "the Mile" since it is said that walking
the path to the electric chair is like walking a mile. In the Tom Hanks
movie, "The Green Mile", the Mile is called the Green Mile in referrance
to the green floor tiling.
