I have been advised by the other FFML Administrators that my punishment of
Paul Durant was perhaps too harsh at 30 days.

With that in mind, his tempban has been reduced to 14 days, thus ending on
September 7th, 2003.

Nonetheless, the administrators of the list would like to make some things
clear:

1) Flames are not permitted.
2) Personal attacks are not permitted. (yes, there can be a difference)
3) A forging of another member's email, even if such is a "parody", is
completely against netiquette, and not permitted.
4) The admins encourage all members to read up on basic net ettiquette.  The
site below will lead you to a few dozen excellent sites on the matter:

In summary, if you think it may be out of line, it probably is.  This
mailing list is a forum for authors and fans to discuss fanfics in a
generally polite and decent manner.  Please remember that.
