The link to chapter 2 is broken. The file is there; I found it when I changed the URL to match the others, but the link is incorrect.

with varying degrees of patience. I know it takes
quite a while for me to get sections out, but its a
complex piece and it makes my head spin to write it
sometimes!

Yes, I was quite pleased to find this in my mailbox. Escaflowne fics are so rare, at least on the ffml, that it's good to see one--and I quite like this one. Good job.

I didn't notice any grammatical problems, so good job there as well. However, there are numerous places where quotation marks, apostrophes, and even dashes are missing from the text as it appeared on my system. As was discussed not so long ago on the list, this is most likely caused by Microsoft-specific character encodings commonly known as "smart quotes" (even though that name is highly oxymoronic). There were some quotation marks, however, so I can only conclude that part of the chapter was written in a non-Microsoft program. Please, before sending anything else to the list, disable text replacement in your word processor, and do a global search and replace to convert all so-called "smart" quotes back into standard ASCII characters. Simply saving the file as plain text is not sufficient. (Or, better yet, cease using Microsoft products entirely.)
