I wrote this for the weekly Fanfiction Challenge at Live Journal's Anime 100.  The Challenge was to write in exactly 100 words, a story base on the topic "Facing Down Your Nemesis"
  I thought it turned out pretty good but I'm biased, so I'm posting it here to see what the FFML community thought of it.  C&C is greatly desired.

Demon 

A whisper of sound caused him to turn and spy the demon slowly stalking him.

Hair covered its body, its claw's were razor sharp and inhuman eyes glowed bright as it watched his every move. 

Terror griped his soul and the demon sensed it, it wanted to "play."

He knew if he ran, it would be on him in seconds, driving him insane.

He must face it and show no fear. He was a man, not a mouse! 

It approached and for once, he struck first.

Now what do I do? Thought Ranma, holding the kitten at arms length.
