Okay, I've read part 14 and 15 now. I printed them off and read them
during
night shift at work, so I didn't get to write down all the comments.

I did really like them, both parts. It's interesting to have Nabiki
kidnapped too, for once ^-^ (Nabiki hasn't been kidnapped before, has
she?
Well, except for in one of the movies). It makes a very interesting
twist.
Also, I like how the relationship between Ranma and Ryoga is developing.
You've worked a long way to get to this point where they could almost be
like brothers, but aren't.

Then again, considering how some siblings act towards each other...^-^

JBW:
Most wouldn't dare kidnap that Tendo daughter. Nabiki seems to usually
stay above and beyond most of the Nerima madness. I mean to remedy that
injustice... heheh...

Most of Book One is the story of how those two got into a sort of
'working relationship.' What their actual relationship is... is an
unknown. Allies? Rivals? Friends? They have different goals, and very
different mindsets. And neither want to really define how they relate to
the other. "They just do."

I look forward to moving onto book two.

Oh, and are the chapters below book two linked to this same fic, but
just
some time later, or is it a completely different plotline?

I have a question not related to your fanfic, but I thought you might
know
the answer since you seem very familiar with character techniques. Do
you
happen to know what Konatsu's techniques are? I'd appreciate any help
that
you could provide.

The Book Two chapters are continuations of those in Book One. It is all
one long plotline (though the focus of it shifts a little) ... The
division into Books is mostly for organizational purposes.

Konatsu's techniques?

Hmm. Its been a while. I'll take a look at the translated manga stuff I
have saved on the comp.

...

Ok. First attack he uses is the "Hundred Hot and Wet Towel Attack"
(throwing a barrage of rolled up towels some of which end up in
Happosai's mouth), then the "Drink Snack Attack" (throwing rice... I
think its rice anyway... at an opponent and then smashing him on the
head with a bottle). There's the "Bill Whirlwind Attack" (A flurry of
very expensive razor sharp bills) the "Beautifil Woman's Dart Attack"
(Just throwing stars, as far as I can see) and the "Greeting Suplex" (A
suplex move, just like Ryouga's from the Charolette Cup though obviously
weaker but faster). This isn't a special technique, but Konatsu DOES
seem to like using poisens and paralysis powders... but EVERYONE in
Ranma seems to use poisen at some point.

Now, there's the "Sneak Up and Crimson Hell Attack" (puts a lipstick-
kiss ultra quick on a man's shirt, getting his girlfriend angry).
Related to that is the "Kunoichi Gratitude Technique" (Under cover of a
smokescreen, Konatsu plants a dozen kisses on a person). Impressively,
Konatsu also used the "(Legendary) Duplicating Body Technique" which
created four versions of the ninja. This wasn't used in battle however,
so it may not have a combat application. After eating the Toushintan
(Magic fighting medicine used to unleash someone's 'full potential')
Konatsu puts out a formidable battle aura as well. Like this, she fights
Ranma fairly effectively (Though he is holding back, not wanting to hit
her because he things he is a she). Finally, there is the "Mystery Bust
Technique" (Bags or something slipped in lieu of juggs that can hit
someone in the face with a cloud of pepper when they grab that part of
the anatomy). Konatsu also cuts a small tree with a cheap wooden
imitation sword (not THAT impressive, since Kuno can cut through stone
with the same)...

Whew. I think that's it.
Note that I didn't mention the weird techniques that Konatsu's
stepsisters and mother used. Its doubtful Konatsu knows them anyway (He
doesn't seem the type to dress up like giant animals and parade around
doing tricks).
