This was excellent as always (although the line that's made me laugh the
most is right near the beginning: "A sponge?" I asked.  "Our protection
is a sponge?")

Even so, I have a request that may or may not be possible - I've been
reading this now over the past several years, and I know that I'm at the
point where I no longer clearly remember exactly what has happened (but
I don't have the time to go back and read the entire story again). What
would be incredibly cool is if there was a summary of events, people,
places, and terms that are in the story - because it's huge. There's so
much going on that I forget what exactly the Outsider is, and all that. 

I know this is sort of a big request, but it would be great to be able
to go "Hmm, so what's that God's worshippers like?" or "What? When did
we find that out?"
