Anyway, moving on.

My point was to show how useless and annoying disclaimers are.


I wouldn't say disclaimers are useless. They're a way to give credit where 
credit is due. Sure, we all know you didn't create Evangelion (or do we...), 
however, by making the disclaimer you acknolowdge the creators and owners 
that made it possible for us to enjoy the anime or manga. A disclaimer 
needen't be longwinded, or witty, or smart. A simple disclaimer stating the 
companies and people who made the anime possible is in my opinion far 
better.

It is merely a matter of respect and common courtesy. You wouldn't like 
people making spinoffs of your fic and not mentioning the original idea was 
yours, so you should take the time to check out who did Eva possible, and 
put them in the disclaimer.

Just my two cents.
