Nah. They want the letter to REACH him, after all--in his case, the most
efficient way to reach him is e-mail, since he lives IN a computer. ^_^

After all, traditional witch though she may be, McGonagall is nothing if 
not
a pragmatist.

I do recall the HP books mentioning once or twice that electronic devices 
are effectively disabled within Hogwarts grounds. Nothing that can't be 
worked around, but do make sure you get to it later. ^_^
