Hey,

I`ve been kicking around some ideas lately and could
use some 2nd opinions on if I should run with them.


The first is a Hellsing/Batman crossover called "Who
Rules the Night?" The story starts with an MI5 agent
taking refuge in the British embassy in Gotham City.
As will later be explained, FREAK chips have begun to
appear in America and Gotham seems to be the source.
The agent has found out who`s behind it all but the
bad guys are hot on his trail. Mere moments after
making it inside the embassy gates are stormed by a
group of FREAK vampires, two of which are metahumans
who`ve had the chips implanted. All within the embassy
are quickly massacred.

Shortly after we jump the pond to England where
Integra is still picking up the pieces from the
Valentine bros attack on Hellsing. Things get worse
when she is informed that because the embassy was
technically British soil Hellsing will be responsible
for tracking down and exterminating the vampires
responsible. 

Integra is livid. It only get worse when see is told
that Hellsing is (unofficially) charged with
uncovering the source of the FREAK chips in Gotham. A
deal has been reached with the US government that will
give Hellsing permission to conduct operations on US
soil for one week. If the vampires responsible are not
exterminated and the source of the FREAK chips found
things will be turned over to the US and Hellsing
brought home. Unofficially, Integra is told that if
Hellsing fails in the mission the organization will be
ordered dissolved.

Furious but unable to do anything, Integra orders
Walter to tell Ceres and Alucard to pack their bags.
Hellsing has just added "investigate" to it`s mandate
of Search and Destroy.

So it`s the Dark Knight Vs the No Life King to see who
truly rules Gotham`s night.

Of course, Batman hasn`t missed the fact that
*something* has popped up on the streets lately that`s
been giving all types of nasty people superhuman
strength. His investigation quickly leads him to
Hellsing. And we all know how Batman feels about
interlopers in his city.

I`ve got a million ideas for character moments in this
one. Connections between the Wayne and Hellsing
families, the shared history between Walter and
Alfred, Ceres meeting members of the GCPD the
Huntress, Alucard visiting Arkham Asylum and maybe
even a guest appearance by Jason Blood.


Second idea: A Love Hina/DNA2 AU fusion. DNA Operator
Emi Maeda is sent back in time to prevent the rise of
the MegaPlayboy AKA Keitaro Urashima. If you know DNA2
I`m sure you can guess what happens next. 

I think it would be really fun to see Keitaro react to
suddenly have this incredible charm with women. Not to
mention the horror of Motoko and Naru when they start
to fall for Keitaro.

The problem is that this could end up just being a
rehash of DNA2 with the LH cast which is the last
thing I`d want to do. A retelling of the story, yes,
but with some twists to keep things fun.

 I`m thinking of having Haitani take the role Ryuji
did in the manga and anime. He wouldn`t want power
like Ryuji did, just chicks. Of course Keitaro would
have to stop Haitani from using his power to take
advantage of women. 

However, there`s also a little matter of a bad guy in
the future to deal with. And just make sure things go
his way, he sends his top agent back in time to foil
Emi`s efforts. One of the Megaplayboy`s own
descendants; Kanako Urashima.

How`s that for AU?
