I dunno where I'm going with this, it just sort of popped into my head.
Apologies if the idea has been used, I just figured that this was one of the
few realistic (if the term is applicable) ways of getting Ranma to Hogwarts.


Little People

Apologies to Takahashi Rumiko and Joanne K. Rowlings - and whoever reads
this piece of dreck I've written...


Harry Potter, fifth year student at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and
Wizardry, looked over the top of the comic book he had recently liberated
from Dudley's mountainous pile of discards. Apparently, as the humor wasn't
that advanced, this particular specimen had been thrown out for the crime of
being in black and white. It had become quite the fad among muggle kids,
recently, reading these - something about them being from Japan, originally.
In this one it showed more than most, as the setting was a "typical" martial
arts school and its surrondings.

What ha distracted Harry turned out to be a discussion at one of the other
tables - Fred and George had been working on something or other, and were
demonstrating for the younger kids. Something to do with animation? Harry
went back to his reading. Suddenly there was a flash, and Harry dropped the
book on the floor with a startled yell.

Every pair of eyes in the room fixed on the open book - or rather, the
figure that was standing on top of it. Five inches tall, black hair in a
pigtail that was standing on end, and dressed in a very small red shirt and
black pants, the suddenly animated character stared back.

"Masaka..."

Ok, initial reactions are probably going to be that Ranma is just a
construct, but as the details emerge - that Ranma still has his curse,
despite being based on only one panel of the manga, that he speaks Japanese,
and that he can really pull off some of the insane stuff, albeit on a
smaller scale. I'm debating wether or not Ranma will want to go home, and
what kind of existential crisis he'll have for having been conjured out of a
manga. I can imagine him going home, despite not wanting to (depends on
where in the manga he's taken from), because there's no way to turn him into
a full size person...
