I think just about everybody knows the drill by now: banned thread. Take
it to private mail, violators subject to possible tempban and/or
cessation of chocolate rations.

Sebastian, you've earned yourself a tempban. As is stated in the list
FAQ, fanfic requests are disallowed, but we'll let you get away with
them as long as you don't do them often, and you ask for private
replies. The meaning of "often" is, of course, a judgement call, but I'd
say that eight of them in one post qualifies. And while it is true that
we may overlook something that is otherwise disallowed when it is added
to a substantial C&C post, it is also true that effectively just saying
"Good job, guys!" falls a good deal short of what would be required for
a successful execution of this tactic.

As the FAQ also states, fanfic requests should never be answered on the
list. The person who posted the link to archive.org can be excused, as
this is a site that a lot of people don't know about and is generally
useful for more than finding this one fanfic. The rest of you who
responded on the list should've known better.
