A fun chapter... got a few corrections for you though..

"Oi! Fune ga namae wa Karipso desu ka?" 

That should be "Oi!  Kono fune no namae ha Karipuso
desuka?"   Yes I know that particle "ha" is pronounced as
"wa" but it isn't correct to write it as "wa."  Adding
"kono" (this) to the sentence makes it a little more
natural...

"Aaraitu!" the girl exclaimed in Japanglish.

That would be "Ara-ito!"  Figuring out katana is a
bitch... mostly a practice and seen enough of it thing...

All in all... a nice setup chapter.  I look forward to the
next and the following series.
