Clever of Kiima to find a way to get in good with Akane.

 
Yeah, the politics of the situation should be clear to just about anyone who
has followed the story for any length of time.

Kiima calling Akane 'Child' doesn't sound quite right to me.  She's
not as stuffy as Haabu and she has strong reasons to want Akane to
like her.

Kiima's been using 'san' up to now.  I'm actually a little surprised
she didn't start the day with 'sama' or 'dono'.

 
You're right on this one. I'll fix it as well.

said as she recovered her breath and pulled the release that tied Akane's
harness to her own. "I planned to do a beginner's landing."

She's used 'chan' several times now.  I can see where she might get
more formal again when they are around others, but they are still
alone.
