I'll give you Ryoko, but the others are not exactly a "given". It _is_
possible to use just Ryoko and Ryo-Ohki - discard the whole "earth" part of
any of the continuities, except maybe the OVA's. No sweat.

Sure, you can always cut and paste ;), however if we discard the rest than
we lack any reason for Ryoko and Ryo-Ohki to be at Earth (and to be
concerned for it).  Either Ryoko isn't at Earth, or she's stuck in the
cavern.  Of course we can always make up a reason - or say it's just a
coincidence.

"Hi, I'm Ryoko and I'm just passing through this system.  I saw your fleet
and decided to make an obstacle course out of your ships.  Hope you don't
mind..."
