Good Point, although binary is so nice... that it is actually likely they
are using binary (and not any higher base), unless their computers are
based on a totally different concept (and don't need a base...)

Binary is... very basic. On/off, true/false, yes/no. A lot of things 
have a binary nature and I would expect it to be a rather universal concept.

Which means that it is likely that any civilization that develops 
computers in whatever form they might be would start off with binary. 
Later evolutions could maybe start working with higher bases, when 
technology advances far enough.
