Good Point, although binary is so nice... that it is actually 
likely they are using binary (and not any higher base), 
unless their computers are based on a totally different 
concept (and don't need a base...)

Reminds me of some anime(?) I once saw with a robot changing 
into a maid with vacuum cleaner and stealing the atmosphere...

That was "Spaceballs", by and with Mel Brooks. One of the cheesiest sci-fi
movies ever made...

Heh. Cute cameo, but I'd drop it. Sides, if it's OVA Ryo-ohki, she 
could conceivably take them out.

Besides if Ryo-ohki's arround, then Ryoko's not far behind, 
followed by Tenchi, Ayeka - which brings along Sasami with 
(the) Tsunami + Washuu. Not to mention the Galaxy Police.  
And Earth is supposed to be non-interference - wonder what 
would happen in the above scenario. Especially since Lain - 
an earthling - began everything?  Would they ignore it (since 
obviously no major (life-wise) damage has been done).  On the 
other hand, this kind of reveals extra-terrestials for sure 
to the masses.

I'll give you Ryoko, but the others are not exactly a "given". It _is_
possible to use just Ryoko and Ryo-Ohki - discard the whole "earth" part of
any of the continuities, except maybe the OVA's. No sweat.
