Maybe switching the infected systems off and switching to backups
would
be better...

The Abh have very advanced systems. As long as the virus doesn't
overwrite the control software installation pool on the mainframe each
system loads a fresh software every time. Isn't it niice? I'm going to
add this one.

Actually it wouldn't matter how good Lain's virus programs are or how
advanced the Abh systems are, I doubt very seriously that there is any
compatability in the two computer systems, making any virus meaningless
noise.

I've never seen a virus written for the Intel or Windows hardware and
OS run on an Amiga or Mac and those computers were designed on the same
planet by humans.

The closest I've come is a Java script looking for the C: drive on my
Amiga.

Personally I've got my doubts about the Intel hardware and Windows OS
being a human design, they seem like very poor copies of something very
alien.
I guess the two companies really shouldn't have hired that ditzy girl
to take those files from Washu, after all she kept claiming she was an
out of work galactic police officer. ^_^
