Actually, the cursed part may not even be part of it. It just happened to
be that the Musk progenitors were permanently female.
But, if the father is the one cursed, as in this case... then what? Maybe
all of Ranma's children will be female as JLee wrote. Or, maybe they'll
all be bishonen/bishojo/androgenous what ever their sex may be...
Strangely, I have never seen this applied to stories where Ranma
"accepts" being female full time and has kids.
Would be interesting to see...
