I'm sorry, but since I've been living in Las Vegas, NV, for as long as I can
remember, I'm very familiar with sunstroke. Now, from the situation that
you've described, Lafiel has quite obviously gotten a good amount of sleep.
Unfortunately, that would help to prevent sunstroke. You get sunstroke,
because you're out in the heat for a prolonged period of time, in a high
humidity area. This causes a breakdown in human sweating, preventing the
body from cooling itself properly. Since she has obviously gone into her
residence and slept overnight, then she has had more then enough time for
her to cool her body down, as the human body will automatically toss the
cover's off itself when it gets too hot while sleeping. At that point in
time of the story, she can't possible have heat stroke, aka sun stroke.
I know what a sun stroke is alike. I've suffered one myself. And, I assure
you, it is possible to suffer a sunstroke even if you are NOT in a high
humidity area, as long as it's hot enough and you're stupid enough.
And Lafiel's a space-adapted parahuman, her body is reacting a bit
differently. That enough rubber science for you? ^_^
