"Permanent!?" I was feeling a lot better now. Jinto had
explained the concept of a sunburn, as well as sunstroke, after
it had become obvious I had suffered one.

I'm sorry, but since I've been living in Las Vegas, NV, for as long as I can
remember, I'm very familiar with sunstroke. Now, from the situation that
you've described, Lafiel has quite obviously gotten a good amount of sleep.
Unfortunately, that would help to prevent sunstroke. You get sunstroke,
because you're out in the heat for a prolonged period of time, in a high
humidity area. This causes a breakdown in human sweating, preventing the
body from cooling itself properly. Since she has obviously gone into her
residence and slept overnight, then she has had more then enough time for
her to cool her body down, as the human body will automatically toss the
cover's off itself when it gets too hot while sleeping. At that point in
time of the story, she can't possible have heat stroke, aka sun stroke.

Now, a more plausible situation is she and Jinto are outside doing some form
of exercise, and forgets to get some liquids to drink. Then it's plausible,
as from the heat and exercise will help to contribute dehydration, then
she'll begin to suffer from heatstroke, where she starts to become flushed,
have hot dry skin, mental confusion, and delirium. The proper way to do
this is to try and cool the body down, like immersing the body in cool
water.

In Las Vegas, it's more common to have heat exhaustion then heat stroke, but
it gets commonly confused. At any rate, having her sleep, can very easily
cure the problem, as long as the problem isn't too severe.
