Before this discussion, I had read another Hellsing fic, which used
Dame
instead of Sir. It annoyed the hell out of me. So, different people,
different preferences, I suppose.
That was a woman in the fic? I did not realise that. Oh...by the way
even though it's fair enough to assume that the name's spelling drifted
over the course of a century, Van Helsing was a Dutch name, not a
German one.
One of the problems with first-person. I did make the assumption that
the person reading had watched the series, and would know who Integra
was.
