Thought people might find this useful and as I had to format my hard drive and reload so I couldn't try to bug TeknosWarhammer with it as the hotmail address at his site returned as Mail Delivery Failure.

Interesting pictures, page is in chinese. Most important they show the Tek-Setters.

No Lance, heh.

My compiled informaton of Tekkaman follows probably has its errors:

Compilitation of information (my work may be flawed):

Evaluation of the Tekkaman Battle System

Voltekker: How this manifest and its relative power depends on
the Tekkamn, most can be charged by taking more time collecting
energy for blasts of greater power.

Secondary Attack: This is a lower order projectile attack. Often
it manifests as a energy blast fired using the TekLance, however
Tekkaman Lance's Secondary was a chest gun and Blade's shuriken
are not energy based. Blastor Tekkamen's Secondary appears to
manifest as a antimatter wave attack, it is unknown whether the
previous Secondary is preserved as yet another attack but visuals
indicate it is in a albiet modified form.

Known Secondary Attacks
Dagger can fire off Energy arrows using his Teklance as a bow.
Blade can break up his TekLance and use parts of it as Shuriken.
Evil has blades that fold out from the shoulder and is called the Ram Shoulder which works as another lance.
Lance has an energy gun in the vicinity of his neck.
Axe can spin his lance and fire off a red energy blast.
Sword can fire a bolt from her Lance like she used to destroy the Blue Earth.

TekWire: Mainly used to retrieve TekLance or help to control its
flight when thrown. Has also been used as a smart rope for
restraint purposes.

TekLance: How this manifest is unique to each Tekkaman, however
it is common to be used when performing secondary attack and can
often be broken down to be used as paired weapons. They can be
thrown as a spear or spin while being thrown. It can also be
spun in front of the Tekkaman and thus used as a impromtu shield
its main use is as a melee weapon.

Battle Mode: A high speed attack, the armor assumes a more
aerodynamical shape and emitters along their side open. Their
aura becomes visible and they travel at high speed, essentially
using themselves as a high speed energy projectile that can cut
through just about anything. Battle mode uses a lot of bio-
energy and so is usually used for brief periods to wipe out lots
of lesser targets.

Armor: The armor of a Tekkaman can be repaired during a battle
but this requires some serious bio-energy. Strength of the armor
like strength of the Voltekker depends greatly upon the person
and their skill with the Tekka suit. Normal weapons including
nukes are ineffective against this armor. The Tekkaman Battle
system however has no facilities to heal injuries to the host if
they are injured before transforming of the armor is pierced.
Neither will the Tekkaman Battle System help them recover bio-
energy so if they over exert themselves in a hostile environment
like space they really want to have some friends to be able to
pick them up. Armor usually has clawed hands and has full NBC
protection in addition to being able to operate at full capacity
in space.

Tekka Set: This crystal is a vulnerable point for a Tekkaman.
They need it in order to transform, if damaged it either needs to
be replaced or hooked up to a special machine (Pegas) in order to
be used to transform again. Of course, they can use others
Tekkamen' Tekka Sets to increase their own power even though this
adds additional strain on the user. The best way to exploit this
is to find a way to damage the Tekka Set as the Tekkaman pulls it
out to transform as after they transform it doesn't really
matter.

Sensors: Not much info at this time. Tekkaman visors are where sensory data is displayed. It seems to give several vision modes making it so they can see through things like smoke. Range unknown.

With the obvious strain on both the hosts mind, body, and bio-energy reserves and the lack of integrated healing capabilities Tekkamen most likely have relatively short lives. As the armor
will eventually burn them out, at which point they probably
become food for the Radam like those rejected for the Tekkaman
process. Blastor increases the strain even when the host isn't
using it, Shinya's declaration that the Blastor capability was
killing him like it was killing Takaya makes me question whether
Tekkaman 2 and the TV series can even be considered to be of the
same continuity.

Tekkamen operate best in more open battlefields where their speed
and high powered weapons can be used to their greatest effect

http://www.geocities.com/tekset_tb/images/tb2cd.jpg I just figured out where he keeps that shield when not in use. I looked at the technical drawing at Tekno-mania to make sure and it checks out. Well that solves one mystery.

For info on the series I usually use http://d-boy.digitalrice.com/ with its very indepth episode summaries and character profiles.

-FOG3, hope this can be of some use to you
