The fic a waste?  Surely not, this was a rather good piece.  Just brief
enough so that it doesn't drag on (a fic of this nature has a frighteningly
short lifespan, any longer it would've been redundant), just long enough to
get the point across.

But I'm sure you mean all the trouble halfway around the world being a
waste.  Couldn't agree more.
