Actually, I think he'd get a kick out of it. Ol' Will *was* a
specialist in sex comedy, after all. I can't help but think he'd have used
the Jusenkyo idea if it had been workable within his means and his audience.
Aside from that, how do I C&C this? No obvious spelling or
grammatical errors, good pacing, lean and quick writing without sacrificing
depth. And the parallels running beween the play and "real life" are handled
with downright amazing deftness. This is one of the fics I'm always happy to
see landing in my inbox.
Not to mention that, as I've suspected from the beginning, doing this
movie is beginning to have feedback effects on the cast, as well.
On another note, while I know diddly about filmmaking, the trials and
travails of Nabs and her "writer" (whose initials are, I misdoubt me, S.I.,
but it's all good) in getting this film in the can have a ring of
authenticity to my ear, as do some of the tricks and techniques. Have you
done this, or did you find a film school student willing to consult for
peanuts? <grin>
