I find it terribly ironic that you have Ranma talking about how a part 
of his brain was destroyed making him incapable of not speaking
roughly, and yet have him speaking with the great formality, to the
point of sounding rather stuffy.  In any case, all that dain bramage
stuff is better left out of this story since he has no reason to talk
about it at this time.  


It is also pretty absurd that Ranma would doubt for a moment that Soun
would want his wife back.  Much more likely that he'd go to the girls 
just because he wouldn't want to deal with Soun's hysterics.
