Unexpected Wisdom
     Ranma sat next to the koi pond, meditating on unexpected wisdom.
     Akane, Ukyo, Shampoo, Kasumi? he thought, Akane, Ukyo, Shampoo,
Nabiki?  Akane, Ukyo, Shampoo, Kodachi? He shivered at that, No,
definitely not.  Akane, Ukyo, Nabiki, Kasumi?  Yes, definitely.
     Saudi Arabia?  Kuwait?  Iran?
     "The solution was so simple," Ranma murmured, "The Koran allowed A
Moslem man four wives in his harem.  That guy Ataru sure was smart.  A
lousy fighter, but smart."



Side Effects
     Akane arrived back at the dojo, saw Ranma-chan sitting next to the
koi pond, surrounded by Happosai's collection.  Ranma-chan was wearing at
least a dozen bras and eight pairs of panties, and crying like there was
no tomorrow.
     Ranma, Akane thought as her heart went out to the devastated girl,
Happosai must have done something terrible to him, again.
     "Akane-chan?" the tearful girl looked up at her, "My life isn't worth
living anymore."
     Akane sat down next to her, she'd never seen Ranma this vulnerable,
this distraught.  She resisted the urge to pummel him, er her, when she
leaned over, resting her head on Akane's chest.
     She must be hurting, Akane reasoned.
     "No, it's just not the same," Ranma-chan sat up, and began crying
again.
     Akane was about to give her a free trip to Mongolia, when Ranma-kun
vaulted over the fence, landing in a handstand.
     "I'm cured!  I'm cured!  I'm cured!  I'm cured!  Happosai's got the
curse and I'M CURED!!!" he shouted happily as he threw open the gate in
the wall.  "There you go, Kuno old boy!  She's right there, and the red-
head's all yours!"
     "Come to my arms, my pigtailed Goddess."  Kuno ran in, practically
shining with joy.
     "Happosai no BAKA!"
     Happosai-chan wasn't too displeased about the escape from Kuno,
although the sound barrier wasn't the only thing broken on the trip.
