I was pleased to find this evening a very comprehensive list of questions about my fanfic, Hailstorm.
I found these questions to be very important, so I posted the answers to the FFML.
[snip]-ed questions or answers contained spoilers, so they're left out.

And yes, for those of you nitpickers out there, I did change the Re: in the subject of my message.
It didn't actually need to be so large as to include the subject below...

Hailstorm - Chapter 1
C&C welcome at laqjr_200@hotmail.com
Hello, I went and read what you had posted on this story and I have some comments/questions for you:
Good, good. Having more readers and a wider fan base is definitely one of my main goals. Now to answer your questions.
First of all, I'd like to mention that I subscribe to a slightly view of most everyone in both (all) series, though a thorough investigation on that fact would include spoilers. Now, for your questions:
1. It's been how many years and the Ranma cast is STILL acting like teenagers? Ranma is a Doctor now right? The fight scenes with Ryouga (and especially >Ukyou's part) really don't seem to fit the time that has passed.
I know, I know... they're still all after Ranma. Ryoga still wants to kill him and nearly hits Ami, Nabiki is planning a thorough revenge, and Ukyo just wants to marry the guy. But really, there -have- been some changes, and I'm not talking about stupid silly things like, "Ooh, wow, Ukyo and Ryoga are engaged now! This must be an U/Ry matchup!" Technically, it's not, but the way things are going, I see many readers disagreeing with me in the near future.
Ranma isn't a doctor, as far as my readers know (it's in the prologue, I said he was a nurse). As for the other characters, I haven't revealed anything on them yet...
Reading ahead to the next question, I have the vague feeling you've read Chapter 6, which would explain why you mentioned 'Ukyo's part'. That was just a poorly thought out and badly written scene I thought of posting, but I haven't decided whether or not to include it yet.

3. Not even going to go into the part of Ranma pushing martial arts instead of tactics and trying to get her to teach the others.
I'll get into it for you! :) So many authors keep to the cliche that Ranma's a martial artist, so he -has- to teach the Senshi to fight. I don't believe in that. Ranma is teaching Ami Martial Arts for two reasons. First, it's a family art, and if Ranma wants anyone to be his heir, it would be Ami. Second, his daughter and her safety come first, period. Besides, he doesn't know who the other Senshi are, and it's not an issue he's going to press.
4.Ami has been with Ranma for her whole life and no involuntary sex changes on Ranma's part?
Umm... That one's a little difficult to explain. Of course, Waterproof-Soap isn't going to cut it, since the Waterproof-ness wears off. The explanation is more along the lines of, it didn't matter at first. In Ami's younger and more precious years, seeing her father change sexes may have been surprising and/or amusing, but if it didn't happen very often, even unto the point that she never noticed it happen at all, then it's something she would forget as she grew older, though certain events, sights, or other stimuli might trigger a memory (which is technically what happened in Chapter 6, now that I know you've been reading it).
So, technically, there have been involuntary sex changes, especially when Ami was very young (infant/toddler) and Ranma had to get her to take a bath. The explanation, then, is that as Ami grew up and was able to take care of herself, Ranma didn't have to spend so much time around her to supervise her, reducing the chances of an involuntary change (which didn't mean much then). When Ami began attending early grade school, Ranma had even less chances of involuntary changes, and somewhere along the way (to be explained later), he came with the idea of using his body to disguise himself, and the best way to keep the disguise hidden is to not let anybody know he can change... Thus, he grew more careful around Ami, the public, and water, and changed a lot less often than normal due to accidents.
5. Pluto. Do I really need to explain?
I absolutely refuse to believe that Pluto can know all, see all, or even catch a glimpse of more than the essential information to keep the Senshi alive. Of course I have something planned in way of an explanation, as the/a sequel will be covering the SailorMoon S arc (the one where Hotaru appears), as well as a significant portion afterward. I just haven't gotten that far yet.
I am not trying to bash your story, I read it and I'm asking "Why?" on certain portions. I do like the premise.

It's always good to ask questions, especially the fairly uncomfortable "Why?" questions that at least I, as an author, dread. (This goes for everyone else who reads Hailstorm, wherever. C&C, Questions, Suggestions, Recommendations, etc. are all welcome at laqjr_200@hotmail.com)
