Not to mention that the Doctor's mother was human, as anyone who's actually
bothered to learn about the series would know instead of reading some quick
summary. Setsuna is...whatever the hell she is. I doubt its human. Now
granted, I know that the half human comes from the Fox movie, but it is
canon
and should be taken into account...however badly it was done.

That said, the only way this could work is if:

A) Its an alt.

B)This is the first Doctor showing up. No easy task considering he was a
cantakerous old chauvenist with interchangable morals and abandoned his
grandaughter while giving a pretty speech. But at least he could be
recognized by Setsuna.

C) CKK actually writes a more then one chapter instead of giving up upon
not
recieving instant adoration and throwing out another of whatever the smeg
these are. They sure aint fics.

CKK, if you ever want to make a name for yourself in fanfiction, and it
appears you do, you need three things.

-The drive to write and tell stories. This you have in spades.

-A thick skin to shrug off the hurtful comments. When I started, I posted a
Tenchi fic to which somebody said that he would use only as an example of how
*not* to write a fic. Did it hurt? Yeah, it did. I'm still a little bit sore.
Did I quit? I'm still posting, aren't I?

-The willingness to accept negative C&C. This is a fine line to walk.
Comments like the one I made (Item C) and the one that my Tenchi Fic was good
only as an example of how not to write could be considered hurtful and are
what the thick skin is for. Comments such as "You need to start a new
paragraph" or "Move that down to the next paragraph" or suggestions to redo a
sentance, or paragraph should not be dismissed. Pay attention to these.

When I started, I wanted instant adoration and respect. I had original
thoughts. I was a creative genius.

Then I pulled my head out of my ass and started listening to C&C, and you
know what? My writing improved by leaps and bounds. I learned more about
sentance structure and other techical aspects of writing in six months on the
FFML then I did in twelve years of public school.

Three things I learned on the FFML:

-Comic books and books based on other properties are your best friend.
Fanfiction is all about playing in somebody else's sandbox, and the people
who write these things are being paid, they make a living to do just that.
Read these things, and use their style and methods as inspiration. This
should not however, preclude your reading original works. I personally
recommend J.D. Robb, Phil Foglio, Robert Asprin's Myth, Time Scout, and
Phule's Company series, Peirs Anthony, Douglas Addams and Terry Pratchett,
David Eddings, Spider Robinson, S.L. Viehl, and Esther Friesner. You should
be able to find these at your local library. You might also want to note that
TV has a lot to teach you. I reccomend watching some British TV. Red Dwarf,
Black Adder, Doctor Who, and such. The British have, in my opinion, mastered
the art of getting a detailed story across in a very short amount of time. If
you can, find the mini series "Neverwhere" and watch it start to finish. Crip
and Vandmeer are particularly interesting villans in both the way they're
written, and how they're used by the filmakers to advance the plot. All
within three hours, to boot.

-When Allen Yonge gives you C&C, pay attention and follow his advice when it
comes to grammer and spelling. I'm not saying you should hold his C&C above
all else, but I've found that he's worth listening too.
And I've probably just inflated his ego beyond all reasonable bounds...=)

-Above all else, respond to C&C. I can't stress this one enough and its a
lesson I'm still learning.

-Paitence

Okay four things, four things I've learned on the FFML...wait, I'll come in
again.
