         One thing I noted here the first time around, but never had a chance
to comment on, Chaz, is the scene where you meet the policewoman,Iris.

         Shoeless and a pair of coveralls.. while the sexaroid additions would
help a lot, you wouldn't be aware of them at that point, and (to misquote
Spock) logic would clearly dictate your at least ATTEMPTING to make up some
sort of story.. perhaps "Ahh.. I was mugged and dumped in an ally."

         And what the hell.. it's pretty close to being true. You WERE mugged
by GENOM (sort of), and they DID dump you (into a trash recycler, but the
end result's the same).

         That's all that leaps out at me rereading it. I still have the 
original
seven chapters that Jeanne (Let's hear it for Ms. Hedge! Hip-Hip-HOORAH!)
saved for us all on her site, and I'll be re-reading those versions too,
desperately trying to contain myself while waiting for entirely new, unread
chapters. *grin*

         Thanks again for re-appearing in our lives, Chaz.. you inspired quite
a few authors with ACPOV.
