And now to answer them.  

Most of your comments came back to this:

VERY slow moving. You're TELLING, rather than SHOWING. And there's too much

re->telling of Canon Ranma and not enough of YOUR story. 

        I know that this chapter will be less action driven than the
previous parts. The reason is why I am having Akane go back over the last
months even was to tell what had happened during Ranma was stuck in China.
Asyou said most of it quite close to what happened in the Canon, but it as a
few change.

        Like you have remarked, I got rid of Kasumi as a possible fiancee
andit is now the Tendou who are going to the Saotome and not the other way
around, but there is more: 
       1-In Canon Kodachi is a least as good if not superior to Akane in
skill, but in DHR Akane defeated her in "fair" battle.
       2-She also faced challengers like the Dojo destroyer and won.
       3-She also went on training trip on her own.
       ...
       4-Oh yeah! I nearly forgot, Akane also know that her food is a far
cryfrom being... good.

       I did all this to show that Akane, although she still have the
personality, she is different from the Canon. She is more skilled in the art
and more dedicated. Why would I do that? Because, Akane take more active
partin this story than being kidnapped by the villain and trying to pass up
as a martial artist. She isn't even close to Ranma or Yohko in figthing
skill, but I have a few surprise in store about her and since I rather not
pull the proverbial  rabbit out a hat I had to somehow hint to those
divergence. Btw there will be more of those "hint" coming up on what I have
in store for Akane. Actually, one of them was inserted in DHR3a, but nobody
seemed to have pick it up.

       I chose to write it this way or I would had have to do a long
flashback which would have slowed the story even more.
