Prologue





    Ranma was depressed and miserable. Here he was stuck in the body of a
five year old. And all the mushrooms that could restore him to his true age
were destroyed. He wasn't alone in this. Sitting by him were a five year old
Ryoga and a five year old Mousse. Mousse was busy cursing Akane. Ryoga was
yelling that it was all Ranma's fault and not Akane Tendo's. Ranma was
wondering why Kasumi had let Akane cook those mushrooms and burn them up
into little pieces of fine powdery gray ash. Kasumi had to have known that
Akane would goof it up but she had let her anyway.

Ranma got up and left the two other kids in the house and went to where
Kasumi was alone in the kitchen. Ranma looked at her and then asked, "Why?"

    Kasumi turned to look at him and instead of pretending not to understand
him she said, "Because this way you can't marry Akane or any of us and
things will finally stop being so chaotic."

    Ranma just stared at her. He had hoped she wouldn't know what he was
asking her. Now that she had confirmed her treachery he felt even worse.

    "You betrayed me Kasumi.", he said.

    "Yes I did Ranma.", she said in a cold voice. "Did you really think I
would let someone like you marry into our family?!", she said with a hateful
sneer. "Be glad that you are still alive."

    Ranma just couldn't believe this was her and asked, "What happened to
you Kasumi?! You used to be so nice , and kind , and caring. Why have you
done this?"

    "The stupid , silly , air-headed Kasumi is just a mask I wear. I'm
really a cruel, mean, evil bitch. Ever since you came hear you have caused
nothing but chaos and I take great pleasure in causing some of it to you
now.", she said in a hateful cruel voice.

    "What about Ryoga and Mousse? You trapped them as kids too? If your beef
was with me why did you do this to them?", he asked.

    "Ryoga and Mousse were caught in the crossfire. A sad but true thing.
Sometimes sacrifices must be made and I felt it was fine to sacrifice them
to get to you. Besides they caused a lot of chaos around here too. I'm glad
that they are gone as well now.", she said.

    Ranma just shook his head. He had been wrong all along. Kasumi wasn't an
angel, she's a demon.

    Ranma turned and fled from the kitchen. He found Ryoga and Mousse. They
were about to attack him when he told them to wait and pulled out a tape
recorder.

    "What's that Saotome?", they both asked.

    "It's something I learned from Nabiki, always tape your conversations.",
he replied.

    Then he played back the tape of his meeting with Kasumi.

    Ryoga and Mousse were both shocked. They just stood there with stunned
expression on their faces.

    "Kasumi has to die saotome.", said Ryoga.

    "Kasumi dies today.", said Mousse.

<<stuff  i plan to put here sometime : The three confront Kasumi in front of
the Tendo and others at dinner and she denies it. Ranma plays the tape.
Kasumi goes ballistic and attacks with a naginta. Nabiki gets in the way and
she kills her. Kasumi is quite insane and kills most of the people there.
Ranma has no choice and kills Kasumi. Ranma then goes over to where Akane is
laying in a pool of her own blood where Kasumi stabbed her. Ranma holds her
close and she looks at him with love and says she is sorry they didn't get a
chance to be together, that she loves him, and she wanted marriage. Then she
dies. He howls his grief to the sky and then his emotions shut off. He walks
up the stairs and finds Genma's dead body on the stairwell then goes up and
finds Nodoka bleeding her last onto the stairwell landing. She looks at him
and tells him she loves him, and then gives him the saotome honor blade
asking him to master it and to protect their clans honor now. Then she dies
before him. Ranma takes the sword and walks numbly up the hallway to
happosai's room and enters. Ryoga and Mousse follow behind Ranma. Ranma
takes the broken nan-ban mirror and lets a tear fall then wishes that they
were at a time before any of this happened. Ranma and Ryoga and Mousse are
sucked into the time-vortex-thing and experience great pain as the broken
mirror malfunctions and then are on a grassy field and pass out. They later
wake up when they hear noises coming from a little ways off. They go to see
what is happening and see a bandit gang trying to rape some young girls.
They look at each, nod, and proceed to fight the bandit gang. They dispatch
(knock-out not kill) most of the bandit gang but there are too many and
they're about to die now. But before the bandits can kill them along come a
man and woman who kill the remaining bandits. They help the three boys and
the young girls. They share their food and water with them too. Then they
introduce themselves as the Sword Dancers Del and Tiger.>>
