 I'm afraid I wasn't too clear RE: Akane's cooking in
this story. IMO, in context of this story the mention of Akane's ability or improvement in cooking ability isn't necessary. For that reason I thought that it could simply be removed, along with most or all of that scene in the interest of
speeding the story along. It didn' feel integrated into the story to me and I found it a bit distracting, but you can never tell what readers will like. ^_*
