This is similar to "The Amazing Spider-girl" by Christopher Horton, but
IMHO, better executed. Horton's piece is somewhat dark and depressing,
this has enough humor to lighten things up, and it doesn't try to shove the
entire story down your throat in one blow. Irregardless, if Horton did
inspire this work, then appropriate credit should be given.
