2040 Linna has a canonical home town, and it's not in Hokkaido.
It's in Kyushu.  See the eps where she goes home for the omiai;
her hometown's name is on the train station sign.

"Yes," Linna said, trying not to laugh. "A guy."

Typical conversation for BGC Classic of the sort almost completely
absent from 2040.  I find it slightly disorienting to credit 2040's 
perhaps-a-lesbian Linna with the classic Linna's behavior; it makes
it hard to remember which continuity this is.  However, given that you
did choose Linna for this, you must have a reason.

"Oh Priss still won't admit to anything." Nene said. "But she likes him, I
know it!" 

When in 2040 continuity is this set?  If after the end of the series (which
having Linna studying engineering implies to me), I'd have thought
Priss and Leon would be farther along.

Seems a bit of a leap from "man in purple fleeing the cafe" and "man who
fought the boomer".  Why do they think the "man in purple" fought the
boomer?  Suggest the hacked into security cameras inside Hot Legs
or something.

And what's Mason doing still alive if this is after the end of the series?
If it's NOT after the end of the series, you might want to include some
text to tell us where in the series this is set.
