So Ranma already knows that Ukyo won't stay dead. The
process was just accelerated this time.
Indeed. She's got no idea that Ukyo's still alive and kicking.
expression on her face. "I wanted to let her know I'm
sorry she's dead."
But she's getting better.
Heh.
The hatch looked far too thick for her to pierce with
Garyoutensei - she stepped over the surface slowly,
carefully looking for any sort of crack or weak point
that she could exploit, but could see only solid,
unyielding metal. That left only one option. She
chewed her lip for a time, weighing up the pros and
cons; on one hand it would get them into the facility,
but on the other hand it would tell the {hunters :
Hunters} exactly where they were.
You have capitalized Hunters most of the time, but not
always.
Whoops - I tend not to be consistent about that sort of thing. I'll fix it
up.
"They've never had to worry about keeping me -out-
before. Normally, they try their hardest to get me
-in- to a facility like this. They've been trying to
catch me and bring me in for a very long time - they'd
never expect me to be stupid enough to come barging
into one of these places."
Excellent point.
As Ranma finds out, it's harder to get out than to get in.
One by one, the Hidari blinked, their pupils shrinking
as they focused their eyes upon Akane. As one they
stepped down to the floor, each staring dispassionately
at its target. Akane swallowed, fighting off a sudden
feeling of revulsion.
It seems like this would have been a good time to cut
them in half.
What, and spoil the cliffhanger? :)
Regards,
R. E.
