        This scene was brilliant.

Thank you.  It was one of the more enjoyable scenes to write, as it gave
me a chance to use some of the moderately detailed world building/history
I've done for this fic. (To get an idea, the existing-entirely-in-my-head
timeline starts tens of thousands of years before the dawn of the Golden
Millenium, and ends well after the end of the Black Moon War...)

I guess it's just my DM's instincts...

        I think of it as more of a dais than a pedestal.

Yep.  This Uranus was officially not happy that Pluto had mislead her
about the whole Talismans/Holy Grail/Sailor Saturn/Messiah mess, and
Hotaru's death pushed her over the edge.

        Aaugh....

        You know, the saddest part is, so far in this story, I find 
Jadeite the 
most sympathetic character.

        That's kinda messed up on my part, but then, I'm wierd like 
that. :/

        Why, oh WHY do I see her and Jadite uniting, when the Senshi 
and 
Champions WON'T lay aside their differences? *sigh*

Nah. Jadeite and Scalae loathe each other enough that they would probably
see renewed servitude to Metallia as _preferable_ to working with each
other.  

        All in all, either I was more deeply pulled in, or this 
chapter was 
shorter than the last.

>From my reckoning, this chapter is approximatel 5k shorter than Chapter
11.  So a little of both, I hope.

I like it, and things are getting steadily 
worse, 
but unmistakably coming to a head. I'm curious to see what happens 
next.

Hopefully we'll see Chapter 13 before the end of the year.  *crosses
fingers*

As for what happens next?  Angst, people talking, and a mostly pointless
battle sequence.  ^_^

Now, if I could just get that deceptivelly simple sounding "Haruka and
Michiru talk about Pluto, Ares, and Hotaru." scene written...
