It's worth it, though.  If page hits are any indication, my readers
enjoy the Drunkard's Walk Concordance almost as much as they do my
fic.  They even help contribute to it.

Heh. I think you're right. Some people just love to go hunting
for references. It's just... real nice to know where everything
came from; reviewing the references the author used to create
the next work...

It actually helps get one on the same wavelength as the author, in
some cases. You get a more dedicated fan base, in any case. I
mean, just look at some of the better-written megacrossovers! ^_^
