That would be rather easy actually. Transmit on a tightbeam to say
Nene or Sylia. I assume that Nene would be monitoring for any radio
transmissions, correct? Identify himself, say he has a plan and ask to
be let in on a secure channel. Will that work?
I'm not the author, but that sounds good to me.
That was actually my fall back, but I'm sort of stuck on the Nene/Guran
exchange after the incident in the forest. Still...
And for the record, the 2040 Nene is competant, though Sylia and Nigel are
the software/hardware techs. The 2040 Nene's role is to mine data from the
A.D. Police computers and not much else. I figure this works as it stays in
line with the overall tone of the series. Nene even admits to Linna that
Sylia is very closed mouth about how the hardsuits actually work. It's not
until much later in the series that we learn even more interesting things
about the suits. To avoid spoilers, I'll say only this. The true nature of
the suits is a doozy. How that compares to the 2032 Sabers, I can't say as
I've never seen OAV. But since both versions were created by the same guy, I
consider them equal, IMHO
In any case, it appears I have some revising to do and this is getting
off-topic. I suggest we move to private-e-mail.
