Much too much telling, and no nearly enough showing.

Split this "one" chapter into three or five chapters, and expand them,
so that little or nothing is *told*, and most or all of the events are
*shown*.

Your points are completely valid. However, they should be directed at the 
story "Can't Go Back" is based on (Return of the Fist).  This first part was 
more of an exposition piece to retell the tale of RotF. Zaxxon will expand 
upon everything in future chapters, *ahem*  whenever they may be released.
